Our research focuses on developing sustainable geo-energy systems through modeling and simulation, optimizing coupled systems performance, and conducting techno-economic assessments with uncertainty quantification. We&#8217;re particularly interested in applications related to Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) and low-carbon geo-energy resources development, as well as subsurface energy storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a background in geoscience, engineering, computer science, physics, or applied mathematics, and are passionate about tackling complex energy challenges, we&#8217;d love to hear from you. Potential projects could include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Modeling and optimization of CCUS systems for efficient carbon sequestration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Techno-economic assessment of low-carbon geo-energy resources development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simulation and analysis of subsurface energy storage systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uncertainty quantification and risk analysis for geo-energy systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in joining our team or have a project idea in mind, please don&#8217;t hesitate to reach out.
