HERO lab student Zaid and his team won 1st place in Biohack 2025 by developing a data-driven web app that accurately assesses the user’s predisposed risk to certain medical conditions using patient data. The ML models were trained on five datasets: cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, and stroke.
