I am re-posting this and added some clarifications

For those applicants who have undertaken graduate studies, you may have noticed changes in our policy of how we allow for the use of graduate years and\/or courses in the GPA calculation. This is outlined in section 3.9b of the applicant manual. The specific change is in 3.9b ii.

To clarify, the substitution policy this applies to your overall lowest undergraduate year,<\/strong> not the lowest remaining year after our exclusion policy.
<\/strong>
Therefore if you have a four year undergraduate degree with GPAs of:

Y1: 3.2
Y2: 3.4
Y3: 3.7
Y4: 3.9

Your lowest year is Y1 at 3.2. This is the year where you can supplement with your graduate course grades.

STEPS:

1.Identify your lowest undergraduate year.
2.In that year identify your lowest courses to remove-YES you will not report them<\/strong>
3.Replace them 1:1 with your desired grad courses (i.e. if you remove an undergraduate course from your lowest year, you replace it with a graduate course.)HOWEVER YOU CAN ONLY REPLACE IT WITH A GRAD COURSE OF EQUAL OR GREATER WEIGHT<\/strong>
4.The description of the course should be that of your graduate course.<\/strong>
5. YOU WILL STILL ENTER THESE COURSES in your graduate years (Yes this is a duplicate but this allows us to track the courses<\/strong>) Remember these won’t be counted in your GPA because you are not meeting the criteria in 3.9 i
