If you have not sent out your referee requests you should do this as soon as possible. It is unfair to expect your referees to turn around a reference in 3-3 days if you wish them to be thoughtful.
Applicants often tell us that applying to medical school is the most important moment in their life. Given this, we ofter ask ourselves, what does it say about an applicant who waits until the last minute to contact referees or submits their application on the last day/last hour?
Update: During the September 9th information session, I clarified that we do not use when you submit your application in our scoring. This post was to remind applicants to be organized and not wait until the last minute especially when it pertains to contacting your referees.
