Re: Update on File Review and Interview dates

Dear Applicants.

I hope everyone had the opportunity to enjoy some holiday time and that your 2023 is off to a wonderful start.

As an update:

1. We are in the homestretch of file reviews and anticipate that the final reviews will be in by early next week. Some of our reviewers have required additional time to complete their assigned files.

Your status will change from reviewer to interview decision when the scores from your assigned reviewers have all been received. (General and Academic). Please note that many of our reviewers will review their files and save scores then submit them later so it doesn’t necessarily mean that your file is being reviewed last if you are still at the Reviewer status on UCAN.

2. Our AdCom will meet the week of January 30th to review the ranking for interview invites and discuss areas of concerns which have been brought forward by our reviewers and/or verifiers.

3. We intend on sending out invites beginning the week of Feb 6th, but it could be as early as Feb 2nd or 3rd. I will send an update when we are more certain but after the IT issue last year we may want to avoid a Friday send out.

4. We have made a decision the the MMI will be virtual and held on the weekends of of Feb 25/26 and March 11/12. Please hold these dates.
