Re: Why files get closed

Dear Applicants,

As you are hard at work getting your applications ready I want to remind you why individual submitted applications may get closed.

1. Missing transcripts-Please read sections 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 of the applicant manual for details.

2.Missing MCAT scores-Please read section 3.4 of the applicant manual for details.

3.Misrepresentation in the publication section-Please read section 4.10 carefully. I have blogged about this area on multiple occasions. We will be scrutinizing this area even more closely this cycle.

4.Misrepresentation in the grade entry section-Please be extremely mindful. for undergraduate years, all courses need to be entered, even if you have retaken a course you need to list it twice with the grade of each.

For the new section 3.9b outlining the grad grade substitution policy. The first step is to identify your lowest undergraduate year. This is the year you can substitute into. YOU MANY NOT SUBSTITUTE INTO ANY OTHER YEAR. THIS IS NOT MEANT FOR YOU TO SUBSTITUTE INTO THE LOWEST YEAR AFTER YOUR LOWEST UNDERGRADUATE YEAR HAS ALREADY BEEN REMOVED

Thank you
