Ana Watson, one of the conveners of the Transdisciplinary Political Ecology group, is co-organizing a Postdoc Research Roundtable titled ‘Nature for Justice or Justice for Nature? Rethinking Conservation and How We Understand It‘. This event is hosted by the Faculty of Arts, University of Calgary in the broader context of the upcoming UN Biodiversity Conference (CBD COP16): “Peace with Nature” (October 21 to November 1, 2024) in Cali, Colombia. This is the first Biodiversity COP since the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (COP 15) in December 2022 in Montreal, Canada.
This Postdoc Research Roundtable will be held on November 1st, 2024, from 1pm to 2:30pm on the 13th floor of the Social Sciences building.
