COMPUTING FACILITIES

The EnGAGE lab maintains a robust computational facility, equipped with high-performance desktop setups that enable remote access and collaboration. Our servers are configured to support a wide range of geologic software applications, including:

  • Geolog for well log analysis and interpretation
  • Petrel for subsurface modeling and reservoir characterization
  • ArcGIS for geospatial mapping and analysis
  • CMG for reservoir simulation and engineering
  • Seequent for visualizing and understanding subsurface geological data
  • QGIS for open-source geospatial data analysis
  • MATLAB for numerical modeling and data analysis
  • Python and R for scripting and data science applications
  • Schlumberger’s Techlog for well data management and analysis
  • Paradigm’s Epos for seismic data interpretation and analysis

These resources are designed to support research and projects in geology, geophysics, and related fields, providing a flexible and efficient platform for data processing, modeling, and interpretation. By leveraging these computational tools, our team can tackle complex geospatial and geological challenges with precision and accuracy.
