Re: The final hours to the deadline

I hope this finds you all well.

Our office is always full of nervous energy on deadline day. We eagerly await the arrival of 4 pm to find out how many wonderful applicants we will be able to assess on the second leg of the application journey

The first leg of the journey (getting your application ready) can be very daunting especially for first time applicants applying not only to single but multiple schools. We acknowledge all the stress involved and your hard work. Now just push that application across the finish line!!!!

As of 830 am MST, there are 1250 submitted applications (averaging 50-150 per day over the last 7 days) and things have been going smoothly. Congratulations to all those who have successfully submitted.

However, with over 2900+ open applications we expect that there will likely be another 600-800 applicants trying to submit over the next 7 hours.

If possible, try to be on the front end of the next 7 hours as the last two hours may get very busy and result in technical errors within UCAN submission and with the payment system. Think of 100s of people trying to get through one door at the same time.

We want to see all of you successfully submit:

Tips:

Be on Google Chrome (only try an alternate browser if Chrome does not work)
Have a stable internet connection
Be aware of any local firewalls and security settings.

Have your payment details ready
Press payment submission only once

Be patient don’t try to submit repeatedly in quick succession -The system looks at this as multiple individuals compounding the problem (now 1000s of people trying to get through the door) OR if you are in the queue and the payment details are the same you will get an error and be locked out.

Regrettably, any resulting technical issues on the final day resulting in an inability to submit will not be taken into consideration.

We hope to see as many successfully submitted applications as possible.
