Re: University of Calgary interviews will be in person

Dear applicants,

I hope you all had some time over the holiday season to spend relaxing and/or quality time with loved ones.

As I previously mentioned in some information sessions, we were planning to go back to in person interviews. Today, I am excited to announce that indeed the interviews will be in-person in Calgary the first and second weekends in March. We truly feel that for medical school interviews that the “old” in person format is the best way to get to know and assess the applicants. This view is shared by both assessors and students who have participated in both formats.

We recognize that there are potential barriers one of them being cost but we are in a position to offer financial assistance to those that may have the need.

The office and student body looks forward to welcoming you to the University of Calgary for these interviews.

Further details will be forthcoming when official interview invites are sent out the first week in February.
