Re: Congratulations to everyone who completed their interview

Dear Applicants,

Thank you for visiting the University of Calgary and for the time, energy, and thoughtfulness you brought to your interview day. It was a pleasure to welcome you to our campus and to have the opportunity to learn more about each of you.

Completing the medical school interview process is an extraordinary accomplishment. Reaching this stage reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving others. You should be very proud of what you have achieved. Each of you represents a group of exceptional individuals who have demonstrated not only academic excellence, but also compassion, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of patients and communities.

We are grateful that you chose to share your stories and experiences with us. The passion and insight you brought to your conversations with our faculty, students, and interviewers made the weekend truly inspiring.

A few important reminders:

1.While you wait for our decisions be kind to yourself.

2.Your status on UCAN means nothing about your application. Some of you will be at Final Decision and others still at Interview confirmed. We take about two weeks to generally clean up the scores and double check them. So do not read anything into this.

3. We will be going through our verification processes over the next 4-6 weeks. Once again-when and if your verifiers are contacted does not mean anything in where you rank. It is random. If we have any troubles contacting your verifiers we will reach out to you.

3.We will aim to get decisions out the week of May 4th for the Calgary campus (read May 7th or 8th) and the week before for Lethbridge campus. I will update you closer to the date.
