Dear Applicants,
We are in the home stretch towards the submission deadline for this years cycle.
There have been some questions surrounding receipt of transcripts
Please read below:
1)Check your Status tab on your application in UCAN to view receipt of transcripts, MCAT scores, reference forms and status throughout the application cycle.
2) We do not delete or throw anything away even if a transcript (electronic or hard copy) is received and there is not an associated open application or institution is not yet listed.
3) We can only update the transcript status if the institution is listed in the application – applicants will definitely experience a delay in their transcripts marked as received in this case – currently we have unmatched transcripts 2+ weeks old.
4) As of Sept 20 – Paper transcripts are up-to-date ie marked as received on UCAN each day and electronic transcripts are approximately 2 days out.
5) Do not rely on the number count of how many downloads there are on your electronic transcript service to determine if it has been received. Ensure that you have sent your transcript to mdtranscripts@ucalgary.ca, not to main campus or elsewhere.
6) If you have followed the above points and still have concerns about the receipt of your transcript, inquire with your institution and / or resend your transcripts to us.
