September 2019

  • Dr. Tom O’Neill – Peak Scholar Award in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Knowledge, University of Calgary VPR Office –Creating Healthy and High-Performance Teamwork in Organizations. These are scholars whose academic work in knowledge engagement, entrepreneurship, tech transfer, innovation or collaborative research has resulted in a positive social or economic impact in our communities.
  • Dr. Tom O’Neill – Insight Grant, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada – Conflict Profiles in Organizational Work Teams: A New Frontier ($238,115)
  • Samantha Jones – Eyes High Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship ($8000)

May 2019

  • Ivy Mai   P.U.R.E. Award ($6,000) – Students are selected based on a proposal to conduct research in their area of interest over the summer on a paid internship.

November 2018

  • Malika Khakhar   Louise McKinney Scholarship($2,500) – Recognition of superior academic achievements in the top 1.5 to 2% of their class.

  • Nicole Larson  CGS – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement SSHRC  ($6,000)
  • Samantha Jones – Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship (SSHRC) ($105,000) – Competitive scholarship for academic achievement.
  • Samantha Jones – Eyes High Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship ($104,000) – awarded to a first year PhD student in support of achieving the University of Calgary’s research initiatives.

  • Dr. Tom O’Neill – Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, Teaching Scholars Program Research Grant ($40,000) – Developing Student Teamwork Skills through Feedback on Personality and Conflict Management Styles.
  • Dr. Tom O’Neill – Haskayne School of Business Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership in Business Grant ($5,950) – Building Teamwork Skills in Entrepreneurs.

November 2015 

  • Claire Ferguson – University of Calgary Student’s Union Undergraduate Research Symposium Faculty of Arts Award ($1,000) – Awarded for research demonstrating both exceptional skills in the student’s field of study and the potential for global or community leadership.

October 2015 

  • Amanda Deacon – Alberta Innovates Health Solutions Graduate Studentship in Patient Oriented Research ($30,000) – Awarded for undertaking health-related research with a patient-oriented approach entitled ” Family Presence During Resuscitation on Increased Error in Medical Teams”.
