Volunteer Opportunity: Bioinformatics Research Senior Investigators

Youreka is looking for scientific mentors to help high school students develop research projects. Interested students would act as TAs of sorts, helping high school students (junior investigators) with bioinformatics research. SIs would get trained before the program begins mid-February and would contribute about a couple hours a week for eight weeks to overlook the zoom lectures. Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of Lethbridge

Two openings for the postdoctoral fellows in the area of cellular and molecular biology is available in the Thakor Research Group at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
The projects to be completed fall under the general theme of cellular and molecular biology, with applications to human health, which builds on the expertise in the Thakor lab. In broad terms, the aim of the projects to be explored by the postdoctoral fellows is to investigate the regulation of protein synthesis in stress and oncogenesis.
